This collar is beautifully made, seems soft and comfortable, and is very sturdy. My dogs neck measured 17", and per sizing recommendations I increased the measurement, and sizing still fell well within Medium range. I could fasten it on the last buckle hole, but felt the collar was just too snug. She has sensitive skin, so if even a little snug I know she'll get skin irritation. Recommend measuring carefully, and read sizing recommendations. I am going to return the medium and order a large, because otherwise love everything about the collar. For reference, my dog is a 60lb Golden, with 17" circumference neck measurement.
