Color is a little different from the picture but I still love it. It's more of a grass green, so it's still pretty. I have a honey colored dog and she has medium length long hair but the collar doesn't pull her hair. It's also still flexible without being too flimsy. Feels like it would stand up very well only time will tell. However she has rolled in a few mud holes and been in and out of her kiddie pool and it has no smell. It doesn't retain any dirt no matter how much she pulls she has yet to slip out of it, or break it. Really after so many wal mart collars this one is amazing!!!
