It's bittersweet for me to write this review. My 10lb puppers is now 11 years old, and needless to say.... as well potty trained as she has been her whole life... she's getting old. This is what we call her "retirement home". She has always slept on the bed with us but as of late, has been getting up in the middle of the night to pee.... on my living room floor. So now our living room rug went in the trash, and she now will be sleeping in this luxurious dog crate. It's not only beautiful and flows well with our furniture, it was very easy to assemble. Minimal parts, took 1 Allen wrench (provided) & took me alone, about 15 minutes to put together without any frustration. Very straightforward. Very simple. Sturdy & well manufactured (not flimsy at all). Highly recommend. I'm sad that my baby won't be at my feet every night but this brings me peace to know she can't pee on any more rugs. I bought the medium size option even though she's a small breed. She can easily stand up, fluff up her blanket, stretch out and make herself comfortable. This is a multifunctional dog crate. Could be used to substitute bed side table or a couch side table easily. I love everything about it and hopes this review convinces you to look no further.This crate is just what I wanted- A dog crate that isn't a complete eye sore for use in my living room (that is fully furnished with pieces that have that rustic wood look) and can actually function as a table if needed.It's actually a very sturdy piece of furniture and was extremely easy and quick to assemble. It only took me about 20 minutes from start to finish.Heck, my Pomsky loves this crate so much he even goes in on his own to curl up and get some shut-eye away from everyone (see photo).Side note- if you're looking for a more substantial pad than what is provided like I was, this crate perfectly fits the Furhaven orthopedic dog bed in size Medium!My 2 soon to arrive puppies will do great when they need to stay in it. Looks great in our family room with floor and furniture definitely NOT an eyesore and my husband said was easy to put together with no issues. Greige color I don't understand the awful reviews ours came packaged very well and it is neither cheaply made nor unsturdy and I would most definitely recommend it to anyone.My daughter wanted this crate for her 11 month old Border Collie who is a chewer. She couldn’t leave him alone for any length of time before getting this crate because he’d chew whatever he could get his paws on. This crate is both stylish and sturdy! It looks great with the home decor and doubles as a coffee table/side table. It’s really great! The only thing her dog chewed was the pad inside, so we’ve learned that he can’t have a bed inside the crate when he’s locked in it. We highly recommend this amazing crate!!I wanted something that would house my little guy and look nice. This fit the bill perfectly! Easy to assemble and I love that I can leave the door open so he can go in and out sometimes. He’s still getting used to it but glad to have found a nice piece at a great price.The item came quickly and looks nice. Easy to put together. Unfortunately, I bought the wrong size but that's because I didn't scroll low enough on the page to see that there are different measurements for internal and external sizes. I should've bought the bigger one and now need to figure out what to do with this one.Screws are too long. The building kit only comes with one size screw, that said when I tighten the screws that go to the top, (they come up from the bottom) they are too long. The screws go right through the top if you try and tighten it. I found that out on the first screw fortunately, so for the rest the screws I couldn’t tighten them all the way. It’s unfortunate that they don’t provide a shoulder screw for the tops. Just be cautious during that part of the assembly.Adopted a senior beagle from the pound. Needed a place for her to eat and hide out if she wants. It works for her and she treats it as a den (door is usually open, of course). It isn't very big, so I wouldn't keep a dog her size confined in it long. Would be great for a smaller dog, and this is the Large size one.
